Gorgeous mountain backdrops, beautiful greenery, stunning church ceremony and a classy skyscraper reception! Ashley and Ryan’s destination wedding in Denver, Colorado had a little bit of everything and all the makings of a memorable and unique destination celebration. When selecting the setting for their late Summer nuptials, Ashley and Ryan chose a place near and dear to the groom and the city where he grew up. Though this was a destination wedding for the Los Angeles based couple, getting married in the church that Ryan grew up in was a natural choice. When it came time to plan their reception, the stunning view of the Grand Hyatt’s Capitol Peak ballroom on one of the top levels their Denver high-rise stole their hearts. The floor to ceiling windows running around three sides of the room boasts one of the best views of the city skyline that came alive as the sun set.
I could gush over Denver endlessly, but even more stunning were Ashley and Ryan and all the special touches they put into their wedding day. Their beautiful purple and silver color palette was elegant and classy. One of my favorite details included the hand-carved and hand-painted hummingbird cake topper that the groom’s family crafted for their wedding cake. Absolutely gorgeous! Rich from CHARD Photography did an incredible job of capturing every lovely detail of Ashley and Ryan’s special day. It’s so evident just how much fun they were having and how much they truly soaked in every moment celebrating with friends and family. I had such a blast being a part of their wedding day!
