Kaleigh and Brent are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met and it was such an honor to be a part of their special day! Throughout many months of their relationship they’ve lived clear across the country from one another and somehow mastered (seemingly effortlessly I might add!) a long distance relationship and planning a wedding apart from one another. I initially had the pleasure of meeting with Kaleigh and her mother and knew instantly that this was a wedding I wanted to be a part of. Kaleigh had a beautiful vision for a Labor Day weekend wedding featuring a vibrant color palette including shades of persimmon, deep reds and yellows accented with navy and wine-themed decor elements. Every little detail was attended to with such care and said something special about this couple. A huge thanks goes out to Nicholas Gingold Photography for capturing such fantastic images of Kaleigh and Brent’s unforgettable wedding day!
Kaleigh & Brent chose the Pacific Club in Newport Beach to host their ceremony and reception. This club is a special place to the bride and her family who have been members for many years. The couple chose to exchange vows outdoors next to the club’s beautiful pond. Kaleigh and her mother designed a rustic wine-themed vignette as a welcome table to give this space an inviting feel. Guests enjoyed the sunshine while sipping on strawberry-mint infused water and iced tea as they waited for the ceremony to begin. A friend of Brent and Kaleigh’s officiated their ceremony, which added such a personal and special touch to the day.
After enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres outside on the lawn, guests were invited inside to the candlelit ballroom decorated by AC Floral Design with gorgeous rustic, wine inspired centerpieces in the couple’s vibrant color palette.
One of my favorite elements of their day was the Sprinkles Cupcake display that they chose in lieu of a traditional tiered cake. Both Kaleigh and Brent are huge fans of Sprinkles and chose their favorite flavors and even had the cupcakes decorated with customized sugar pendants. My favorite was the mini “UCLA” sugar pendant they chose to represent their alma mater. Just another way they added their personal touch to their wedding day. Visions Entertainment provided the DJ, MC and lighting services and they not only set the mood, but also kept the dance floor packed the entire evening. It was truly a magical wedding!
