I had such a blast working with Danielle and Kyle to bring their dream wedding to life at the beautiful Spanish Hills Country Club and I am so excited to share a peak at the photos from their special day! Danielle and Kyle are such a cute couple and so perfectly complement each other. They truly mastered the balance between putting personal touches into their wedding day through DIY projects and trusting their vendors to provide the best service possible. One of my favorite DIY projects were the ceremony programs that Danielle and Kyle designed and constructed that doubled as both fans and mini expressions (“Yipee” “Bravo” “Hooray”) to be waved during the recessional. They were perfect for the hot Labor Day weekend weather in Camarillo and were so adorable!
The ceremony took place outdoors on the venue’s beautiful lawn, which boasts a stunning view of the Camarillo Valley. One of the greatest highlights of the ceremony was the Wine Box Ceremony. Danielle and Kyle ordered a gorgeous cherry wood box with their names and wedding date engraved on the front of the box, and packed their favorite bottle of wine and personalized love notes that each wrote to each other inside. During the ceremony they shared the sentiment of the box with their guests nailed the box shut with plans to open it on their 10-year anniversary. After the cocktail hour, the reception kicked off with a beautiful sit down dinner in Spanish Hills main dining room. Guests enjoyed a delicious, hand-picked menu and lush and lovely tall centerpieces that featured violet and lavender roses, hydrangeas, lycianthus and created by Bashful Rose Floral Design. The dance floor was packed throughout the night, as friends and family enjoyed the MC/DJ talents of Scott Topper with Scott Topper Productions and danced the night away. Danielle and Kyle celebrated the school where they met when they invited all of their friends onto the dance floor to sing and dance to Wisconsin’s traditional Fifth Quarter songs. What I loved so much about this fun and flirty wedding was that it so perfectly represented Danielle and Kyle. It was such a special day filled with so much love, and I feel honored to have played a small part.
